At EHI Australia, we believe supporting our community goes beyond the products we supply. It's about lending a hand where it's needed and helping organisations that make a real difference in people's lives.

As part of our commitment to giving back, EHI Australia has donated Easyroll trolleys to The Pantry WA, a community food relief organisation based in Wangara, Western Australia.

Led by CEO Bev Woolhouse, The Pantry provides essential food hampers to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. With the rising cost of living affecting households across Perth, their work has become more important than ever.

Helping local volunteers make a difference with donated Easyroll trolleys.

Supporting Those Who Support Others

The Pantry's story is one of determination and compassion.

When the organisation faced closure several years ago, Bev Woolhouse stepped in to keep it running. She secured a new location and helped establish The Pantry as an independent organisation dedicated to supporting those in need.

Today, The Pantry and its dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to collect food donations, sort supplies and prepare hampers for local families.

Understanding how difficult it can be to ask for help, The Pantry operates an appointment-based collection service. Recipients simply drive up, open their car boot and have their food hampers loaded by volunteers, making the process convenient, discreet and respectful.

Making Life Easier for Volunteers

Behind the scenes, running The Pantry involves a considerable amount

physical work. Volunteers regularly unload delivery trucks, transport food crates, move boxes and prepare hampers for distribution.

To help make these everyday tasks easier, EHI Australia donated six Easyroll trolleys and three Easyroll Dollies, providing practical equipment to support The Pantry's daily operations.

These versatile trolleys can be used in both upright and horizontal positions, allowing volunteers to transport multiple boxes and crates with greater ease.

During our visit, Bev shared how much the equipment means to her team.

"The trolleys are essential in what we do. We just can't function without them."

Bev also explained that the original trolleys supplied around seven years ago are still going strong, demonstrating their reliability through years of regular use.

For a volunteer-run organisation where every helping hand counts, having sturdy, practical equipment makes a genuine difference.

Small Contributions, Meaningful Impact

"The trolleys are essential in what we do. We just can't function without them."

For Bev and her team, the additional trolleys have been a welcome addition.

EHI Australia is grateful for the opportunity to support The Pantry WA and the incredible work Bev Woolhouse and her team continue to do for the local community.

We believe businesses have an important role to play in supporting the communities around them. Whether through practical equipment, donations or lending a helping hand, even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference.

A big thank you to Bev and everyone at The Pantry for the compassion, dedication and hard work they put into supporting Western Australian families.

We're proud to play a part in helping those who help others.
