A wheel brush is the one for straight-line brushing, edge deburring and pipe welds, on a bench grinder or an angle grinder. Ours are from SIT and Rocket.
Crimped wire does general cleaning and light deburring, twist knot wire takes rust and heavy scale, and the abrasive nylon wheels do the finishing. Use a stainless steel wheel on stainless work so you don't plant rust in the surface, and a brass one on softer metals. The wheels fit by shank, thread or bore, and the speed marked on the brush has to suit the grinder it goes on; our brush buyer's guide covers both.
