Bansbach Damped Gas Strut 300N - D3 Elbow, M8 Rod
This is the damped one. At 300N, around 31 kg, with strong damping and a deliberately slow extension, it holds the load back and eases it open rather than letting it flick up. That makes it the pick where you want a controlled, soft lift, a heavy hinged lid, a machine guard, or a canopy you don't want snapping to full height. It finishes in a D3 angled elbow-joint end, with an M8 rod thread for fitting your own.
